In continuation to the special drive launched by Kokernag Police for destroying illegal poppy cultivation, SDPO Kokernag and SHO Kokernag Mir Imtiyaz with his Police team where constituted for the said purpose.
SDPO Kokernag along with SHO Kokernag destroyed poppy cultivation spread over more than 30 Kanals of land in village Loharsenzi Kokernag Sdm Kokernag Owais Mushtaq was also present during drive.
General public of the area have appreciated the action of Police team and have urged the authorities to continue this drive in nearby areas also.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt strictly under law.
